BrorB RC Performance Insert for JConcpets 2.2"/5.25" tires

With the increasing popularity of the 2.2/5.25 tires from Jconcpets, we decided it was time to figure out some inserts for these tires. While the stock foams work well, they especially lack in the side hill department, and during lateral movement of the tires. These BrorB RC inserts, developed using the 2.2"/5.25" Jconcepts Tusk tires in green compound, aim to fix that. These should also fit other similar size tires from Jconcepts and others.

As with our other 3D Printed crawler inserts, these are developed and made using a dual stage, dual filament. The inner ring will stiffen up the sidewall of the tire, while the softer outer will conform to the rocks, giving maximum grip while maintaining great lateral support.

These inserts are currently available in soft and medium-soft configuration, and made to fit standard 2.2" wheels with a 35mm, 64mm outer diameter beadlock ring. Be aware that when we say soft, we mean really soft (see photos).

Also available are Ultra Soft and Super Soft (which is roughly 30% as stiff as the stock foam), for regular 25mm wheel with flat beadlock ring, and for slotted beadlock ring. Make sure to send us a message to specify if you need the version for slotted rings, as flat 35mm is considered standard, and is what we will send out unless otherwise specified.

Our 2.2"/5.25" insert for the Jconcepts tires are made for lightweight crawlers, ideally under 3kg, or lighter - typically comp built rigs. If your rig is over 3kg, feel free to contact us, to see if we can't figure something out for your heavier rig.
